The mission of Cataloguing Department is to provide timely cataloguing of Library materials and to maintain a high quality bibliographic database for users. To facilitate bibliographic searching, all newly-acquired books, journals, audiovisual materials, multimedia, or electronic resources need to be catalogued and provided with appropriate subject headings and classification numbers. To add value to our service, we also contribute our bibliographic records to the international bibliographic database OCLC WorldCat for global sharing. |
