The collections specialize in music, religion, education, sport science, Japanese literature and language, performing arts and theatre, which support programmes offered by departments of Music, Cultural and Religious Studies, Japanese Studies and Faculty of Education. Both the Music and Religion collections are considered quite significant in Southeast Asia.
All books and periodicals are shelved by their Library of Congress Classification numbers. Stitch-bound Chinese books, reserve books, microforms and theses are kept in closed stacks. Users may ask at the Counter for access.
A collection of microforms includes ERIC documents and out-of-print materials on Music and Religion is available upon request at the Counter.
