Circulation Service

Users can check out, check in and renew library items at the circulation counter of the Architecture Library. Books borrowed from other branches of the University Library System can be returned there.

For further details concerning circulation policies, borrowing privileges and application for library cards, please refer to the Circulation Services of the University Library System.


Reference Services

The Architecture Library provides only Architecture-related reference services. The Reference Department of the University Library System provides more comprehensive reference services on general subjects. Details of their services are listed in the Reference Services of the University Library System.


Document Delivery Services

Request for inter-library loan and document delivery service can now be submitted online via the ILLIAD service. (ILLiad User Guide)


Self-Service Photocopying Services

The Architecture Library uses the same keycard system as used in the University Library System for charging. Stored value key-cards are available for purchase at the circulation counter. Photocopying of the library materials is governed by current Copyright Ordinance (Law of Hong Kong, Chapter 528) in Hong Kong.

Photocopying charges :
$0.30 for A4
$0.40 for A3


Audio-Visual Room

All videos, CDROMs, and slides are kept in this room. Equipments for viewing the materials are provided.


Seminar Room

A small seminar room is available for small class seminar or small group study/discussion. Staffs and students are welcome. Advanced booking is preferred.

ClassNet Connection / Wireless LAN

Users may use their own laptop computers to access the Internet via ClassNet or wireless LAN connection using VPN technology.
