Books – This collection of secondary materials includes law textbooks, academic treatises, practice manuals, loose-leaf services etc.


Journals – 250 print journal titles are at present housed in the Lee Quo Wei Law Library Located on 4/F floor of the Tin Ka Ping Building.  Bound law journals are located on 3/F of the Tin Ka Ping Building.


Primary Materials – This collection housed on 3/F of the Tin Ka Ping Building includes case law and legislation for Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, China and other countries.


Electronic Resources – Consisting of 2,450 e-journals and 53 databases on law and law-related subjects, these resources are available either through the campus network, or on standalone PCs in the Lee Quo Wei Law Library, University Library and the Bank of America Graduate Law Centre.


Multimedia Materials – Multimedia materials related to law and practice are available for loan or for viewing inside the United College Wu Chung Multimedia Library. These include CD-Roms and Educational Multimedia materials, etc.

Hong Kong Government Documents – The University has been designated as a depository for the Government publications of Hong Kong. They provide information on a wide variety of subjects and include monthly, bi-annual and annual reports, statistical analyses, directories, draft legislation (Bills), legislation (ordinances and regulations) and pamphlets. The collection is kept on the 1st floor of the University Library.

Hong Kong Studies – Established in 1970s, Hong Kong Studies is a research collection with materials on a wide range of areas that are pertinent to Hong Kong for serving the teaching and research needs of academics and students. The law materials in this collection include secondary and primary materials.

Other collections – Other resources such as a comprehensive Social Science Collection located in the University Library can be utilized for law related programmes at undergraduate and master levels.
