Are there any online library instruction programmes or face-to-face library workshops conducted on the weekends for part-time students?

Some library workshops are conducted in the evenings and on Saturdays. Users in groups may also request seminars or orientation sessions for a particular subject area. Please send your request to eref@cuhk.edu.hk.

Further online library instruction modules are also available on the Library Homepage under the Instruction section for self-directed learning. These include modules on the Information Literacy Tutorial, a CUHK Library Catalogue Guide, Subject Guides, Database Guides, etc.

I am going to take the Student IT Proficiency Test. Does the Library provide workshops on the IT Proficiency Test’s information literacy section?

The Library provides Information Literacy workshops to assist students in preparing for the Information Literacy Section of the Student IT Proficiency Test throughout the year. The schedule is posted on the Student IT Competence Programme webpage and the Library Homepage.

How can I find out if my articles are being cited by other researchers?

The Library offers the Citation Search Service to faculty members who are interested in finding out how many times their publications have been cited in the core journals of a discipline.

I am an academic staff member. Can the Library help me to do a literature search for my research project?

The Library provides extensive, in-depth research consultations for faculty members and postgraduate students. To make an appointment, please fill-out the online form.
