Wi-Fi Printing Services
Wi-Fi Printing Service is now available to all CUHK students, staff and alumni. It enables you to print conveniently from your own Window-based notebook to designated multi-function photocopiers (MFP) located at different libraries within the University Library System.
By installing the appropriate printer driver below, you can simply send print jobs, via the campus network, from your own notebook to the designated Wi-Fi enabled MFPs located at University Library System. The print job will be activated once you have keyed in your password and presented your Octopus card.
Where to Print?
You can print anywhere on the campus network from CUHK Wi-Fi Service (SSID = CUHK) and CUguest Wi-Fi Service (SSID=CUguest) to the following designated MFPs:
How to Print?
This service is available to notebooks with 32-bit / 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Printing is easy. Please follow the steps below:
a. Download Printer Drivers
Notes:
1) The service is accessible only to these two CUHK campus Wi-Fi networks (SSID = CUHK and CUguest)
2) Each printer driver can print to one designated MFP only
3) Wi-Fi printing in ULS only supports Octopus charging method
4) Wi-Fi printing in ULS does not support Linux, MAC and any OS not listed below and mobile devices

b. Install the Printer Driver and Configure your Notebook
Please download the Installation Guide (for 32-bit/64-bit of Windows)
c. Send Print Jobs to the MFP
Once you have installed the required printer driver and finished configuring your notebook, you will be able to send print jobs to the designated MFP.
d. Pick up your Print Job
The print job will be released once you have input your password and presented the Octopus card for payment. You may refer to the online guide for detailed procedure. The print job will be available within 3 hours after sending the print job.
Charging for Printouts
The default for pinting in MFPs is set to duplex in order to protect the environment:
