Hong Kong Studies
The Collection Hong Kong Studies is a research collection with materials on a wide range of areas that are pertinent to Hong Kong for serving the teaching and research needs of academics and students. It contains materials previously housed in the Hong Kong Collection of United College Library. Planning is underway to actively consolidate the collection and to pull together Hong Kong materials now spreading all over ULS libraries.

Circulation Policy To facilitate easy availability of materials to users, all books, journals, company reports and pamphlets in Hong Kong Studies are restricted to be used ONLY in the library.
Materials
Monographs Monographs which include general readings and reference materials on a variety of subjects are shelved by call numbers in open shelves with a location code "hks" at the bottom of it's call numbers.
Location displayed in CUHK Library Online catalogue is "UL HK Studies".
Periodicals Current and bound periodicals are shelved by call numbers both in journal racks and bound journal shelves.
Location displayed in CUHK Library Online catalogue is "UL HKS Periodical ".
Company Reports Company reports, both current & bound volumes, are shelved alphabetically by the name of company.
Location displayed in CUHK Library Online Catalogue is "UL HKS Company Reports".
Closed Stack Materials Location displayed in CUHK Library Online Catalogue is "UL HKS Closed Stack". Closed stack materials are available to users upon request.
Maps Location displayed in CUHK Library Online Catalogue is "UL HKS Map". Maps are available to users upon request.
University Archives Current continuous university archives, single and bound volumes are shelved by call numbers.
