About the Seminar
This Seminar will address a range of critically important issues, related to the enhancement of bibliographic services in academic libraries, in the context of today’s rapid developments in information technologies.
Some of the most internationally-renowned librarians and information scientists from Australia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, and U.S.A will share their experiences and valuable expertise in different areas of bibliographic services (cataloguing, classification and authority control, etc.). The Seminar also intends to contribute to the debate on the revision of the national cataloguing rules and MARC standards.
