Responsible for Developing, Requirements review and Coordinating of projects. And on behalf of CALIS, helped to negotiate with other organizations.

Service Model of CALIS Union Catalog System
CALIS联机编目服务主要分为三种：为编目员提供的联机编目服务、为读者提供的OPAC服务、为管理人员提供的管理服务。这里着重介绍了前两种服务。
1． 为编目员提供三种服务模式
套录CALIS联机编目系统数据有三种工作流程。第一种，完全使用本地的图书馆自动化系统。为此，CALIS联机合作编目中心推出了一套控件，本地图书馆自动化系统只需将该控件植入本系统客户端，即可实现此种工作流程。大多数图书馆目前使用的正是这种方式。第二种，适用于本地图书馆自动化系统的Z39.50功能不够完善，只能用联机编目客户端从联合目录数据库中上/下载数据，利用“存入临时库”功能，将数据转成ISO 2709格式，再导入本地图书馆自动化系统。目前仅有少量的图书馆在使用这种工作流程。第三种，同时使用本地自动化系统客户端和CALIS联机编目客户端。这种工作方式对编目员要求比较高，要求熟悉两个客户端，出错机率少。目前也仅有少量的图书馆在使用这种工作流程。
2． OPAC中为编目员和读者提供的服务
有些小的图书馆，由于网络不畅，用客户端下载CALIS数据有困难。因此，在OPAC中，提供了下载MARC的服务。
此外，OPAC也已与CALIS 馆际互借系统连接，集成了北大方正提供的中文图书的电子书信息。目前，我们正在进行中文期刊目次数据的服务，希望可以更加丰富联合目录OPAC的内容，为读者提供更深层次的服务。
3． CALIS在全国、地区、省中心的三级部署模式
目前，CALIS在全国有七个地区中心，15个省中心。为加强CALIS的三层保障体系，CALIS在这些中心建立了联合目录OPAC或Z SERVER，以加强地域内的馆际互借服务，同时减轻由于成员馆日益增多导致的系统压力。
ABSTRACT
Service Model of CALIS Union Catalog System
The CALIS Union Catalog service includes Online Union Cataloging for cataloguers, OPAC service for readers, and Management service for the administrators. Cataloging and OPAC services are mainly introduced.
1． Online Union Cataloging Mode
There are three kinds of modes to share CALIS Union Catalog data. The mode is related to local Library Automatic System.
Mode 1: Downloading Marc data from CALIS to local system and uploading data from local to CALIS by the local Library Automatic System. The key is the local system integrated with CALIS Online Cataloging plug-in. the mode is used widely by most member libraries.
Mode 2: Mainly using CALIS Online Cataloging Client to Download and Upload Marc data. The downloaded data can be saved as a local ISO2709 file by the client, then transferred to local library database. Some libraries without fulfilled Z39.50 function integrated in Library Automatic System maybe adopt this kind of mode.
Mode 3: The local system and CALIS client are used side-by-side. Uploading Marc data to CALIS Union Catalogue by CALIS client and downloading MARC data from CALIS union catalog to local database by Z39.50 function of Local Library Automatic System. Some libraries without implementing to integrate with CALIS Online Cataloging plug-in use the kind of mode.
2． OPAC services for cataloguer and reader
Without smoothly Internet some small libraries download Marc data through OPAC.
And OPAC have already integrated CALIS ILL system, connected with the eBook information of the Chinese books that provided by Peking University Founder Co. in addition, we are planning to supply the Chinese journal table contents services in OPAC.
3． Three levels Model in country centers, district centers and province centers deployed by CALIS
CALIS has 7 district centers, 15 province centers. To enhance this kind of 3-level service system, CALIS Union Catalog and Z SERVER are constructed in these centers so that ILL service within the region is improved and CALIS system’s overload with increasing member libraries is reduced.
