A Client Retrieval Software is required to install in order to read the articles from Si Bu Cong Kan database, please follow the instructions below:

Remote access users must connect via the ITSC's dial-up server, or VPN connection service.

Step 1: Download Client

Procedures:

• Click here to download the 248MB self-extractable client software file 'sbck_client.exe' and save the file.
• Open Windows Explorer. Double click the 'sbck_client.exe'. Click 'OK' button to unzip the file.
• Click "確定"button to install the file to the default destination folder "C:\Sbck"(or enter a new path and Click "確定").
• Restart the PC after installation completed.

Step 2: Access the Si Bu Cong Kan

Procedures:

• Click Start button on task bar and select "四部叢刊" application.
• Press "確定" button on the popped up "Login Dialogue Box".

Hardware Requirements:

• CPU : PII300M or above, recommend to use PII550M or above
• Memory : 128MB, recommend to use 256MB or above
• Hard Disk : around 50MB
• Operating System : Windows NT workstation 4.0, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP, Windows 98 or above.
