IT Skills Series
Program 6: Get Started with 3D Printing, Scanning and Modeling Techniques Workshop
Introduces the basic techniques of creating 3D models for 3D printing. Participants may have the chance to build their own figurines by using Blender (open source 3D creation software), and the Structure Sensor 3D scanner.

Demonstrates how to make use of the collected materials from a literature review and addresses research questions in writing a paper.
Program 9: Understanding and Avoiding Plagiarism
Introduces the concept of plagiarism with real world examples and explains what should and should not be done when citing references in academic writing.
Program 10: Managing Reference Citations with RefWorks
Demonstrates how to use RefWorks, a web-based bibliography management tool, to produce bibliographies and in-text references in a variety of citation styles (e.g. MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.).

Program 11: Electronic Resources for Job Hunting and Further Studies
Demonstrates related web resources and databases for users who aspire to enhance their career prospects or are contemplating further studies in Hong Kong and abroad.
