Bobo is an amateur urban sketcher, born and educated in Hong Kong. She is now studying Master of Art in Fine Arts at CUHK. Her passion of art since childhood, having an opportunity to learn Chinese painting. She expresses herself in life drawing every day with different forms of medium like ink, pastel and painting apps, etc.
Bobo believes that art shouldn’t be something out of reach and should be integrated with life. Working as a HR specialist in staff training and development over 10 years, she tries to bring elements of art at workplace. With an aim to create spaces that are technology-rich and vibrant and in response to the changing needs for learning, teaching and research, the Learning Garden, Chung Chi College Library and United College Library will be renovating their library spaces during this summer. To provide temporary book storage, the Quiet Study Area, IT Zone, Maker Bubble, Open Forum and Learning Path of the Learning Garden will be temporarily closed from 12 May 7 pm to 31 August 2018. Due to the increased demand for students’ study spaces during the revision and examination period, access of the late reading rooms will be restricted to CU Link holders only between the period on 3 April at 9:30pm to 12 May 2018 at 9:00am, inclusive. The late reading rooms (Chung Chi, New Asia and United College Late Reading Rooms) during that period will not be opened to other library card holders and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

With the aim to create boutique humanities-based libraries on the upper campus, United College Wu Chung Multimedia Library (UCL) will be refurbished this summer. The entire UCL building will be a construction site during the renovation period. For health and safety reasons, UCL will be closed for the building works after the university examination on 13 th May 2018 until the end of August 2018.
During the renovation period, DVD, VCD and Local TV Programme Collections in UCL will be relocated according to the subject designation of individual item to CUHK Libraries. Professor Yao Ke (1905-1991) was an important playwright in Modern Chinese Drama history. He devoted himself to incorporating elements for the traditional Chinese stage into modern drama and film. His history play Sorrows of the Forbidden City (清宫秘史), which premiered in Shanghai in 1941, ran for more than a hundred performance. In 1948 he moved to Hong Kong and resumed his interests in writing historical dramas, among which Xi Shi (西施) and Qin Shi Huang (秦始皇) are still remembered today. Professor Yao later ventured to write on modern themes; for example, his play Abyss (陋巷) depicted urban slums and drug addiction in Kowloon City. Self and Gender awareness in our life journey is a long discovery process. Some relates to our childhood development and some turns to our future adulthood achievement. Some can be traced from structural constraints including religious aspect. During a course of “Gender and Ministry,” a group of divinity school students through an art workshop made their self-formation picture books to connect with their inner selves.
