About the list

The Lib-Innopac-EA majordomo list was set up to promote communication among INNOPAC libraries in East Asia and to cater the specific needs of libraries in East Asia.

Lib-Innopac-EA majordomo is an unmoderated forum open to anyone interested in discussing the automation of library services with INNOPAC (Innovativ Interfaces Inc.) systems, and in particular, the handling of CJK by INNOPAC.

Use of the list for a variety of purposes is encouraged including asking questions, conducting surveys, posting minutes, announcing news of local projects and exchanging opinions.

University Library System of The Chinese University of Hong Kong operates Lib-Innopac-EA majordomo as a public service. Messages submitted to Lib-Innopac-EA majordomo are not verified for accuracy, and reflect only the opinions of the message authors. Authors of Lib-Innopac-EA majordomo messages are solely responsible for content in their messages.

Lib-Innopac-EA majordomo is not administered by Innovative Interfaces Inc. Although Innovative staff may subscribed to the list, they do not as a rule participate.

If your want to discuss concerns with Innovative staff, you should communicate with them directly. Innovative Interfaces Inc.(III) can be contacted at sales@iii.com or helpdesk@iii.com.

• Send an email message to majordomo@listserv.cuhk.edu.hk . The contents of the SUBJECT line is ignored by the Majordomo program. The body of the message should be "subscribe lib-innopac-ea". Leave the subject line and the rest of the body empty. You will shortly be sent a message asking you to confirm your subscription request.

To unsubscribe from the list:

• Send an email message to majordomo@listserv.cuhk.edu.hk . The contents of the SUBJECT line is ignored by the Majordomo program. The body of the message should be "unsubscribe lib-innopac-ea". Leave the subject line and the rest of the body empty.

To post a message to the list:

• Direct your email to lib-innopac-EA@listserv.cuhk.edu.hk, not majordomo@listserv.cuhk.edu.hk. If you wish to send commands to the Majordomo software, please do not send them to the list -- they will not be processed. Instead direct them to majordomo@listserv.cuhk.edu.hk. Request sent to majordomo@listserv.cuhk.edu.hk should be placed in the body of the email message, NOT the Subject. ListProc ignores requests in the Subject field.
