Except for items recalled by other users, you may renew your checked out items twice via the library catalogue. If the item you renew is already overdue, the overdue fine will be charged to your account and can be settled when you come to the Library.
 

  At the web-based catalogue
  1. Click " View Your Circulation Record ".
  2. After reading the special notes, click " Click here to View Your Circulation Record ".
  3. Enter your name, your Library Card Number and your PIN (password) as requested. You may need to re-enter the PIN (password) if it is the first time you type in your PIN (password). A PIN (password) can be up to 8 characters of lower-case alphabets and/or numbers. You may assign any password you preferred.
  4. Click " Display record for person named above ".
  5. Click " n Items currently checked out ".
  6. Select the desired item by clicking the circle and click " RENEW SELECTED ITEM "
    OR
    Click " RENEW ALL " if you want to renew all checked out items.
  7. A new due date will be assigned and the message " Due XX-XX-03 RENEWED Now Due XX-XX-03 " will be shown.

** To protect your personal information, press " START OVER " after viewing your circulation record.


  At the text-based catalogue

  1. Type " L " for " LIBRARY Catalogue ".
  2. Type " V " for " VIEW your circulation record ".
  3. Enter your name, your Library Card Number and your PIN (password) as requested. You may need to re-enter the PIN (password) if it is the first time you type in your password. A PIN (password) can be up to 8 characters of lower-case alphabets and/or numbers. You may assign any password you preferred.
  4. Type " C " for " Display CHECKED OUT items ".
  5. Type " R " for " RENEW items ".
  6. Enter the number corresponding to the item to be renewed.
  7. A new due date will be assigned and the item is marked " * RENEWED ".
