Setting up your PIN (password)
- a. At the web-based catalogue
- Click " View Your Circulation Record ".
- After reading the special notes, click " Click here to View Your Circulation Record ".
- Enter the Department name on the Card and theCard Number. You may leave the PIN (password) blank.
- Click " Display record for person named above ".
- Enter the new PIN (password). Re-enter the PIN (password) for confirmation. A PIN (password) can be up to 8 numbers.
- Click " Display record for person named above " again.
You may change the PIN (password) when you are in " View Your Circulation Record ".
- Click " Modify your PIN ".
- Enter the old PIN.
- Enter the new PIN. Re-enter the PIN for confirmation.
- Click " Submit ". The message " Your PIN has been modified " will be shown.
* To protect your personal information, press START OVER after viewing your record.
b. At the text-based catalogue
- Type " I " for " LIBRARY Catalogue ".
- Type " v " for " VIEW your circulation record ".
- Enter the Department name on the Card, the Card Number and the PIN (password) as requested. You may need to re-enter the PIN (password) if it is the first time you type in your PIN (password). A PIN (password) can be up 8 numbers.
You may change the PIN (password) when you are in " View Your Circulation Record ".
- Type " M " for MODIFY pin.
- Enter the old PIN.
- Enter the new PIN. Re-enter the PIN for confirmation.
- Type " Q " to quit your circulation record.
If you forget the PIN (password), the PIN will be deleted upon the departmentˇ¦s request. This will allow you to set up the PIN again.
