There are four group study rooms available in the University Library. Situated next to the Computer Lab on the G/F, the study room with ClassNet connection and LCD projector provides meeting and study space for groups of up to 10 people. Other three rooms are for 4-6 people. Users can register at the Reserve Books and Special Collections Counter to use the group study rooms.

Guidelines for Group Study Rooms

To ensure fair access to all users, please observe the following guidelines :

1. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Booking can only be made in advance on the same day, either by phone (2609 8740) or in person.
2. Sign-in is required at the Reserve Books and Special Collections Counter.
3. A minimum of 4 users is required for reservation.
4. Rooms may be occupied for up to 2 hours. One additional renewal is permitted, provided that no other reservation has been made.
5. Groups that do not show up within 10 minutes will forfeit the reservation.
6. Rooms are not sound proof and noise should be held to acceptable levels.
7. Users are responsible for any damage of the furniture and equipment in the rooms.
8. Eating or drinking is strictly prohibited in the rooms.
