The Faculty Liaison Programme is designed to help librarians and Departments work together so that Faculty members will appreciate existing services and assist in developments. This programme links a representative Faculty member from each Department (i.e., Department library chairman) with the librarian assigned as the liaison librarian to that Department. Department library chairmen and liaison librarians can meet formally or informally as often as they need. Communications between librarians and Faculty members will be enhanced, and services and resources can be improved.
