Research Consultation Service

Reference Librarians at the University Library offer a research consultation service to CUHK faculty members and postgraduate students to provide access and direction to sources of information which pertain to the researcher's specific project. The librarian will assist the researcher in identifying information needs, constructing effective search techniques, locating information and using print, microform, CD-ROM, online, and Internet resources. Faculty are invited to use this service as well as to recommend this free service to their postgraduate students.

Research consultations take place in the Consultation Room in the University Library, in order to use all Library resources available, in all applicable formats. The appointment time will be arranged by the researcher and the consultant-librarian. Individual consultation appointments with a Reference Librarian may be made in person at the Reference Counter (1/F University Library); by phone (26097305), or via email (eref@cuhk.edu.hk).
