through modem / ADSL modem connection

Select
Tools
-> Internet Options
|
 |
|

Select
Connections
tab. Under Dial-up settings, click on the name of your dial-up service
then click [Settings] |

Check
the box of Use a proxy server then click [Advanced ...] |

4.
|
Enter
the following for HTTP and Secure:
Proxy address
to use: ra.lib.cuhk.edu.hk
Port: 8080 |
 |

5.
|
Click
[OK]
all the way until the Internet Options menu is closed |
 |

6.
|
Click
[Refresh]
on
the Standard Buttons toolbar |
 |
|
7.
|
When
a window is pop up, input User Name and Password and then
click [OK] |
