Indexes and Abstracts
- An Index provides the author and title of an article
and the volume, page number(s), date, and name of the
journals in which the article appeared.
- An abstract includes the same information as an index but
give a summary of the article's content as well.
- To locate articles,
we must use an index or abstract in printed form or
CD-ROM version.
The Library may not carry all the journals that are cited
in the indexes and abstracts. Please check the library
holdings.
