Indexes and Abstracts

An Index provides the author and title of an article and the volume, page number(s), date, and name of the journals in which the article appeared.

An abstract includes the same information as an index but give a summary of the article's content as well.

To locate articles, we must use an index or abstract in printed form or CD-ROM version.
