The Library is delighted to have had Dr. Gao Xingjian come over on November 30, 2001 to sign his books housed in the Library collection.

Dr. Gao is the renowned Chinese writer and Nobel laureate in literature 2000. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Literature, honoris causa in 2001 by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
