The Cataloguing Department is happy to announce that we have begun contributing bibliographic records to OCLC in February, a milestone for the Department. OCLC, Online Computer Library Service, is a non-profit organization promoting resources sharing among libraries; it links more than 25,000 libraries in 63 countries and territories. We are most pleased to be able to contribute and participate in resources sharing among libraries worldwide. This year, we estimate we can contribute approximately 1200 to 1400 Chinese records per month.
