the Reserve Books Counter.
Multi-function terminal with printer for visually impaired
Wheelchair accessible computer terminals are
located just next to Reserve Books Counter.
Page Turner
Located near the Reserve Books Counter, Page Turner is available for muscular disabilities.
Reading Edge
This machine synthesizes speech from printed text in English. Located near the Reserve Books Counter.
Telesensory Magnifier for visually impaired
Located near the Reserve Books Counter, it can magnify
text in books, magazines, or on anything that fits on the viewing table.
Wheelchair accessible entry for physically impaired
A special entry is arranged in University Library
for users with impaired mobility. An intercom is also available
outside the Library for the users to call for assistance.
All floors in the University Library are accessible through the elevator.
Library staff at the Circulation Counter will also help you
to get the book from the stack.
Wheelchair accessible restrooms
At the new wing of the University Library, wheelchair
accessible restrooms are available for those with mobility impairment.
ZoomText
It enlarges text on the computer screen and provides some speech synthesis
capabilities. Located near the Reserve Books Counter.
Library Cards for assistants
Special Library Cards will be arranged for the assistants of
the physically disadvantaged users. On their behalf, their assistants
can look up and check out materials in the Library.
