項潔教授（Professor Jieh Hsiang），臺灣大學資訊工程學系名譽特聘教授（Distinguished Professor Emeritus）。他於2007年創立臺灣大學數位人文研究中心並擔任主任至2024年7月退休。他在1993年回臺前，為美國紐約石溪大學計算機科學系的正教授。在臺大任教期間也擔任過臺灣大學圖書館館長與臺大出版中心主任，並創建臺灣大學校史館、臺灣大學博物館群、臺大人文庫和臺灣原住民族圖書資訊中心，並主編了臺大的第一本校史稿。 項教授近年的研究重點主要是數位人文：發展將數位史料運用在人文研究的脈絡分析方法論、工具和系統。他和他的團隊建立了40多個大規模的中文典籍／臺灣歷史檔案脈絡分析檢索系統，以及一個供人文學者使用的個人化數位人文學術研究平台DocuSky，用於處理、標記、分析和視覺化資料，以及構建學者個人的脈絡分析文本資料庫，無需IT專業人員的協助。 除發表了200餘篇的論文外，從2011年開始他陸續編著了6本數位人文相關的書籍，這些書是華文最早關於數位人文的學術書籍。他在2009年啟動數位典藏與數位人文年度會議，這是亞洲最早以數位人文為主軸的會議。他也是臺灣數位人文學會（2017年成立）的主要推手，並於2018年創立《數位典藏與數位人文》期刊，是華文界第一本以數位人文為主軸的期刊。自 2005年到 2024年，他負責「臺大佛學數位圖書館」，全球最大的線上佛學書目資料庫，每天吸引超過 25,000 名的全球用戶，累計訪問超過 5,000萬人次。

Workshops – 串聯文本、地圖與照片：從文本到互動地圖的數位脈絡觀察
DocuSky & DocuGIS2 數位工具工作坊

數位人文研究，不再只是冷冰冰的數據，而是能夠動態展現文本、照片與地圖之間的關聯。本工作坊系列將帶領參與者，從資料整理到互動展示，親手完成專屬於自己的數位研究平台。不需要深厚的程式背景，只要有文本或資料，就能快速上手。兩場課程將循序漸進，從「文字」到「地圖」，從「靜態資料」到「脈絡觀察」與「互動展示」，讓你在短短兩場中，完成一個專屬於自己的數位研究平台。

林農堯博士，臺灣大學資訊工程博士，專長於人文地理資訊系統（GIS）應用與數位人文研究。他致力於開發友善的GIS平台，協助學者將文本、資料與空間結合進行研究分析。其成果已多次於國際數位人文會議（如 DH、DADH）發表。近年更結合時間軸與生成式AI，讓研究者能快速將文本轉化為互動地圖，開啟跨時空的全新觀察視角。

Workshop 1 – 建立個人的研究文本資料庫

想像一下，把你多年累積的文本、研究資料，整理成能夠快速檢索與分析的資料庫。這場工作坊將引導參與者將文本轉換成表格，再透過工具生成 XML，匯入 DocuSky，打造專屬的研究資料庫。參與者將學會如何在資料庫中觀察文本脈絡，並進行初步的研究分析。
備註：
參加者需自備有Firefox/Chrome瀏覽器的手提電腦，並於工作坊前註冊DocuSky帳戶。

Workshop 2 – 建立個人的互動地圖

研究不只是文字，還能以地圖說故事！本場工作坊將帶領學員將田野調查照片直接放入互動地圖，並分享其研究脈絡。接著，參與者將透過 DocuGIS2，把表格資料轉換為可檢索的 GIS 系統。從文字到地理空間，從靜態到互動查詢，研究成果將能以時空的方式被呈現與觀察。
