hongkong@paris.poetrypainting: Chung-hing’s Art and Poetry Collections
Chung-hing is a Hong Kong-born writer and painter who has been residing in Paris for decades. Her works resonate like sparks ignited by the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. Treading a path where poetry and painting converge, her works seek harmony amidst the tumult of human existence. Her writing often explores the trauma, obsessions and redemption of ordinary individuals while her paintings favour vibrant colours, with birds and trees as subjects, capturing radiance and joy. Her works also include children’s literature and religious art. The graphical allegory album Seeking You, which has also been produced as a video, is composed of works spanning different periods and reflecting the author’s inner philosophical journey. This exhibition showcases significant literary and artistic creations of Chung-hing. Members of the public are welcome to visit.
