Description of Talk:
The author recalls her early years in France—studying at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and working in a gallery—where European literature and art opened new horizons of inspiration. Through her creative journey, she seeks harmony amid Eastern and Western cultural contrasts. Though the title evokes spiritual figures, the talk is not on religion.
About Chung-hing:
Chung-hing was born in Hong Kong in 1947. She graduated from The University of Hong Kong before attending the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Having resided in France for decades, she pursues both painting and writing and is dedicated to the fusion of poetry with images. She has published about 20 books in Chinese along with four poetry collections in French.
