The Library is undertaking a number of improvement works and we apologize for any inconvenience this causes. The works are necessary to improve facilities and services in the Library. Please contact counter staff if you need any assistance or have any concerns with the improvement works being undertaken when you are in the Library. Please note that earplugs are available at the Library Service Counter.
University Library
Waterproof work for the Lift No. L1 of the University Library Extension
During the period, Lift No. L1 service will be temporary suspended.
Works period: 6 – 18 January 2025
Replacement of Air Conditioner on the 3/F of the University Library
Some study seats near the elevator will be temporarily unavailable. Bookshelves in the call number range of PC to PZ will be inaccessible during this period, but users can make book retrieval requests with our staff at G/F Service Counter or by sending emails to ulcir@lib.cuhk.edu.hk. There will be noisy works on the 3/F of the University Library.
Works period: 23 December 2024 – 11 January 2025 (Except Sundays and Public Holidays)

Renovation of the Outdoor Reading Area of the United College Library
During renovation, the Outdoor Reading Area on 1/F in the United College Library will be suspended.
