What is the future of Open Access? Future models for the delivery of OA in a global environment

This presentation explores the future of Open Access for journals and suggests methods for achieving 100% immediate Open Access. It illustrates how the transition to Open Science principles can be viewed as a journey, with countries and regions at different stages.

Open Access University Presses: UCL Press as a case study for OA publishing

This presentation examines the eight pillars of Open Science as identified in Europe, focusing on the Future of Scholarly Communication. It uses UCL Press as an example of a new publishing movement, discussing the motivations behind its foundation and the challenges it aims to address, along with the benefits of having an institutional Open Access Press.
