The fourteenth Research Café organized by the Library will be held on 22 Mar. The theme is Energy. The Café is consist of a short talk on “Why Earth System Science?” by Prof. TAM Chi Yung Francis, Assistant Professor of the Earth System Science Programme, and Research Fellow of the Institute of Environment, Energy and Sustainability, and followed by three presentations on research by Ph.D. graduate Dr. Man Kei TAM, and two Ph.D. candidates Mr. Haoxiang WEI and Ms. Xiaohan GONG, across disciplines. Dr. Karl Holm of The Independent Learning Centre (ILC) will provide feedback on student presentation skills. We are very honoured that Prof. XU Yuan of the Dept. of Geography and Resource Management has helped organize this Café. Postgraduates, academics and researchers are all welcome to attend!
