The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to work at the Cataloguing Office of the University Library.

Job Duties:
(i) Data entry in Chinese (Cangjie, Pinyin or Simplified Cangjie input method) and English; and
(ii) Library catalog searching

Working Days and Hours: Working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week and will be flexible within office hours from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 to 5:30 pm during weekdays

Working Location: Cataloguing Office, 5/F, Tin Ka Ping Building

Hourly Rate: $64/Hour

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to work at the New Asia College Ch’ien Mu Library and United College Wu Chung Library.

Job Duties:
(i) provide help desk services during night time, weekends and /or public holidays;
(ii) answer general enquiries;
(iii) monitor swing gate access and take head count at designated time intervals; and
(iv) other duties as assigned.

Working Days and Hours: Working will be allocated on a rotational basis between: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week and will be allocated on a rotational basis (1) from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. during Monday to Friday; (3) from 8:15 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. during weekends and public holidays.
