Library Building Works

The Library is undertaking a number of improvement works and we apologize for any inconvenience this causes. The works are necessary to improve facilities and services in the Library. Please contact counter staff if you need any assistance or have any concerns with the improvement works being undertaken when you are in the Library. Please note that earplugs are available at the Library Service Counter.

University Library

Water Seepage repair works at 9/F Tin Ka Ping Building 
During the period, there will be noisy works. The work area will be blocked, users may enter the Library as usual.
Works period: 20 December 2025 – 14 March 2026 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

A/C Equipment Repair and Cleaning Works of the University Library
During the period, there will be noisy works. The area surrounding the bound periodicals A-B and C-Z will be blocked, users can still access the Library.
Works period: 20 December 2025 (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

Floor Sheet Replacement Works at LG/F of the University Library Extension
During the period, there will be noisy works. The work area will be blocked, users can still access the Library.
Works period: 22 – 31 December 2025 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Maintenance work of Lift No. 1 of the University Library Extension
During the period, service of the Lift No.1 will be suspended, users may use other available lifts.
Works period: 5 – 13 January 2026 (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
