Library Building Works

The Library is undertaking a number of improvement works and we apologize for any inconvenience this causes. The works are necessary to improve facilities and services in the Library. Please contact counter staff if you need any assistance or have any concerns with the improvement works being undertaken when you are in the Library. Please note that earplugs are available at the Library Service Counter.

University Library

Maintenance Works of Lift No. 1 of the University Library
During the period, service of the Lift No.1 will be suspended, users may use other available lifts.
Works period: 8 August 2025 until further notice (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Waterproofing Work at 4/F of the University Library Extension
During the period, users may enter the Library as usual.
Works period: 22 July – November 2025 (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)

Architecture Library

Refurbishment Works of Architecture Library
During the period, the Architecture Library will be closed. User may access the affected collections via the book retrieval service.
Works period: 19 May – 31 August 2025

Chung Chi College Library

Repainting Work of the External Facade of Chung Chi College Library
During the period, there will be noisy works. The Outdoor Reading Area on G/F of the Chung Chi College Library will be closed.
