Preparation for the CUHK 60th Anniversary Commencement Ceremony

In preparation for the CUHK 60th Anniversary Commencement Ceremony, there will be some special arrangements at the University Library. Library opening hours and the provision of 24-hour study facilities will however remain unchanged during this period. Please feel free to contact our staff at the service counter or helpdesks should you need any assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

 

  • 16-20 Jan & 30 Jan – 10 Feb 2023
    There are event setup works outside the University Library after 7pm and there will be strong light and music/noise from the University Mall affecting some of the user area. Users are encouraged to make use of other study facilities not facing the University Mall.

 

  • 10 Feb 2023
    Access to the University Library will be through the After Hours Entrance/Exit after 8:00pm. Some roads on campus may be closed and there will be changes to bus routes. Users are encouraged to check the University Webpage on any latest announcements on campus traffic before coming to the University Library.

 

  • 11 Feb 2023
    There will be strong light and heavy noise from the rehearsal on the University Mall during the whole day. Users may consider using other libraries on campus. Earplugs are available at the Service Counter on G/F of the University Library.

 

  • 12 Feb 2023
    There will be strong light and heavy noise from the rehearsal in the morning and the CUHK 60th Anniversary Commencement Ceremony in the afternoon and the evening on the University Mall. Users may consider using other libraries on campus. Earplugs are available at the Service Counter on the G/F of the University Library. Access to the University Library will be through the After Hours Entrance/Exit.

 

  • 13-28 Feb 2023
    There will be a 15-minute projection mapping show at 7pm on the library exterior wall facing the University Mall, and the strong light will affect some of the user area. Users are encouraged to make use of other study facilities not facing the University Mall.
