It has been a year since the passing of Professor Sir Charles Kao, former Vice-Chancellor of CUHK and Nobel Prize Laureate. In memory of the “Father of Fibre Optics”, the Charles K. Kao Foundation for Alzheimer’s Disease has organised a roving exhibition “Remembering Charles” to highlight Professor Kao’s lifetime achievements and outstanding contribution, and showcase his artwork produced during his treatment by art therapy from 2013 to 2018. The 2/F has been renovated to house the significant music and audio visual collection of over 110,000 items.
