Library Summer Works

The Library is undertaking a number of improvement works and we apologize for any inconvenience this causes. The works are necessary to improve facilities and services in the Library, and summer is the optimum timing for minimizing the impact. Please contact counter staff if you need any assistance or have any concerns with the improvement works being undertaken when you are in the Library. Please note that earplugs are available at the Library Service Counter.

University Library

Window Seepage Repair Work on the rooftop of the University Library
During the period, there will be noisy works.
Works period: 16 February – May 2025 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Scaffolding Erection Works on G/F and 1/F of the University Library
During the period, there will be noisy works.
Works period: 16 – 17 May 2025 (9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.)

Repair Work of S-shape table on LG/F of the University Library
During the period, there will be noisy works and the work area will be blocked.
Works period: 26 – 30 May 2025 (9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.)

United College Library

Rooftop Maintenance Work of the United College Library
During the period, the Outdoor Reading Area on 1/F of the United College Library will be closed.
Works Period: 1 May – 13 June 2025

Architecture Library

Refurbishment Works of Architecture Library
During the period, the Architecture Library will be closed. User may access the affected collections via the book retrieval service.
Works period: 19 May – 31 August 2025

New Asia College Library

Refurbishment Works on the Second Floor of the New Asia College Library
During the period, 2/F of the New Asia College Library will be closed. User may contact library staff at Help Desk on G/F to retrieve library collection from 2/F.
Works period: 24 May – 6 June 2025

Chung Chi College Library
