Self-Service Holds Pickup @ University Library

Next time you receive an email notification that a CUHK item you have reserved is available at the University Library, you can simply go get the book from the Self-Service Hold Shelf, which is conveniently located in the Reserve Books / Holds Room just next to the Circulation Counter, and check it out at the Self-check machine inside the Room.  Books on the Hold Shelf are arranged by users’ surnames in an alphabetical order.  To protect your privacy, we have masked part of your name and your library card number.  With this new service, you no longer need to line up in front of the Circulation Counter just to pick up items that are on hold to you.
