  • SH20210831DI - Student Helpers, Research Support and Digital Initiatives (Ongoing)
    The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to to work at the Research Support and Digital Initiatives Office of the University Library.
    Job Duties: (i) perform quality check of digital files; (ii) prepare source data for digitization; and (iii) other duties as assigned.
    Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week and will be flexible within office hours from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 to 5:30 pm during weekdays
    Working Location: Research Support and Digital Initiatives Office, 7/F, Tin Ka Ping Building
    Hourly Rate: $60/Hour

    Normally, all local registered full-time CUHK undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible to register as Student Helpers.   • SH20220422USC - Student Helpers, Universities Service Centre for China Studies Collection (Ongoing)
    The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to work at the Universities Service Centre for China Studies Collection (USC) of the University Library.
    Job Duties: (i) provide support in collection maintenance and shelf-reading; (ii) assist Library staff in stock-taking of USC material and maintaining an accurate inventory record; (iii) assist Library staff in preparing material for a digitization project; and (iv) other duties as assigned.
    Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week and will be flexible within office hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
    Working Location: 8/F and 9/F of Tin Ka Ping Building; University Library
    Hourly Rate: $60/Hour

    Job Duties: (i) Data entry in Chinese and English (倉頡, 併音 or 簡易); and (ii) Library catalog searching.
    Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week* and will be flexible within office hours from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 to 5:30 pm during weekdays (*may engage more working hours during summer time from 1 Jun to 31 Aug 2022)
    Working Location: Cataloguing Office, 5/F, Tin Ka Ping Building
    Hourly Rate: $60/Hour
