The HKALL hold/loan quota is shared with that of Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery service and will be counted in your total loan quota.

1. Hold/loan quota will be counted when a request is made and will be released when either: (1) physical books are returned and checked in by the lending library; (2) the print copies are collected; or (3) the copies are delivered in electronic format.
2. All borrowed HKALL loans may be renewed up to the maximum loan period if they are not recalled by the lending library. Borrowers can renew their loans in person or online via My Library Record anytime before the due date. The new due date is calculated from the date of renewal.
